Venue Hire includes the following:

  • Gazebo
  • Register Table
  • Cake Table
  • White Flower pots and ornate tables included
  • Draping the marquee is a must to create the perfect effect, an extra cost but well worth it.
  • Barman and waiters can be arranged at additional fees.

VENUE HIRE

The venue hire includes the standard furniture all covered in white damask, a L-shaped food table draped in white, bar area furniture, main bride and groom table, red carpet, flower columns, gazebo, standard glasses including champagne glasses, standard cutlery and clean up.

CHAPEL

The chapel or outdoor gazebo may be chosen for the actual ceremony. Your own minister must be arranged. The sides of the chapel may be lifted or down depending on the weather.

MENU'S

The menus may be altered to accommodate your personal preference. Please note that all prices are subject to change. Children under 10 years for FREE.

BAR SERVICES

The bar is a beer and wine only self service allowed on do-it-yourself buy at Makro option also allowed or a bar tender can be arranged at R500. You may request wine or champagne on the table, this to be charged to your account.

WAITERS

Waiters dressed in white shirts and black pants can be arranged at an additional cost for the day. The amount of waiters is decided on depending on the size of your wedding.

DEPOSIT PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, the balance to be paid 2 weeks before your actual date of your wedding. By then the finalities will have been charged for. The deposit is not refundable if wedding cancelled.

GENERAL

  • The bride and groom will bring in their own flowers, decorations i.e ribbons, organza, raffis etc.
  • NO fireworks will be allowed
  • NO hooting and loud music allowed in the area of The Drake Wedding Venue
  • The Drake Wedding Venue offers back-ground music CD Player only
  • Overtime may be arranged at R500 per half hour
  • Rehersals and viewing times may be arranged at any time just call
  • Candles may not be placed on the linen
  • No confetti, streamers, feathers, rice are allowed.
  • Wedding can be held any day Monday to Sunday.
  • Any breakage will be charged to your account.
  • The Drake Wedding Venue and its employees will not be held responsible for any loss or injury to persons, due to negligence or any other cause whatsoever.
